I was referred by a friend and I'm really glad I listened. The team handled a full basement cleanout; decades of old stuff, heavy appliances, you name it. They worked for hours without complaint. One of the guys found an old metal shelving unit I wanted to keep and set it aside without being asked. Small thing but showed they were paying attention. Five stars no hesitation. Empire Demolition and Hauling is the only call I'm making for this kind of work going forward.Posted on Google![]()

We run a property management company so we use hauling services a lot. Empire is now our go-to. They're reliable, fast, and actually answer their phone which is rare these days. Bonus: they never leave a mess behind.Posted on Google![]()

Empire Demolition and Hauling was available to pickup and remove a bunch of junk from our garage. They arrived on-time; worked quickly; loaded the junk into a truck and even helped clean up afterwards. Plus, the price quoted was quite reasonable too. They definitely will be recommended to my family and friends. Thanks for your hardwork guys!Posted on Google![]()

We hired Empire to tear down an old garage that had been falling apart for years. From the first call, they were super helpful and gave us a fair quote. Showed up on time, worked fast, and left the site spotless. Honestly didn't expect it to be that easy. Highly recommend!Posted on Google![]()

These guys are the real deal. We needed some concrete busted up and removed from our backyard, and they handled it no problem. The crew was friendly, professional, and honestly? Way cheaper than the other companies we called. Win win.
Empire Demolition and Hauling is a Sacramento based demolition contractor serving Fair Oaks and the surrounding communities east of the city. Our crews handle residential and commercial demolition, excavation, land clearing, concrete removal and debris hauling.
Fair Oaks isn’t part of Sacramento or Orangevale. It’s its own unincorporated community in Sacramento County, with about 32,000 residents and its own county community plan. The American River runs along its southern edge, and neighbors include Carmichael to the west, Citrus Heights to the north and Orangevale to the east.
It also has a long memory. Fair Oaks was laid out in 1895 as a farming colony, with families planting citrus and olives on parcels of 5 to 20 acres. A hard freeze in 1932 wiped out the groves, and after World War II the old farmland slowly filled in with homes. That agricultural history is still reflected in some of Fair Oaks’ larger parcels, established properties and mature trees.

We’ve been doing demolition and site work around the Sacramento region for over 30 years. Every job uses our own people and our own machines. No subcontractors, which keeps the schedule tight and the accountability simple.
We’re licensed and insured. We get utilities marked before digging and keep dust under control. On older lots, we look for buried footings, old irrigation lines and forgotten slabs, and we keep heavy equipment clear of the oak roots you want to save.

We serve properties throughout Fair Oaks, including the 95628 area:
We also work in Carmichael, Citrus Heights and Orangevale next door. You can find Empire Demolition and Hauling on Google Maps and read more of our reviews.
Fair Oaks is unincorporated, so demolition permits go through Sacramento County.
Sacramento County requires a permit to remove or prune native oaks, even on private residential lots. In a place called Fair Oaks, that comes up a lot.
The Village has special planning and preservation regulations, and some development projects are subject to additional design and site requirements.
Land near the river and around the Village can be steep. We plan equipment and grading carefully so slopes stay stable.
Former orchard land can hide old wells, irrigation pipe and buried debris. We plan for it before digging.
Certain demolition projects are subject to Sac Metro Air District asbestos survey and notification requirements, including a 10-day notification period for applicable demolition projects.
Before any tree work, check the county’s tree permit page. We’ll help you sort out the rest of the plan.
