I was referred by a friend and I'm really glad I listened. The team handled a full basement cleanout; decades of old stuff, heavy appliances, you name it. They worked for hours without complaint. One of the guys found an old metal shelving unit I wanted to keep and set it aside without being asked. Small thing but showed they were paying attention. Five stars no hesitation. Empire Demolition and Hauling is the only call I'm making for this kind of work going forward.Posted on Google![]()

We run a property management company so we use hauling services a lot. Empire is now our go-to. They're reliable, fast, and actually answer their phone which is rare these days. Bonus: they never leave a mess behind.Posted on Google![]()

Okay so I don't usually write reviews but seriously, this service was a lifesaver. My husband and I were overwhelmed with clearing out his dad's old house, full of junk, old furniture, the works. Empire came in and made it disappear. Thank you thank you thank you.Posted on Google![]()

Empire Demolition and Hauling was available to pickup and remove a bunch of junk from our garage. They arrived on-time; worked quickly; loaded the junk into a truck and even helped clean up afterwards. Plus, the price quoted was quite reasonable too. They definitely will be recommended to my family and friends. Thanks for your hardwork guys!Posted on Google![]()

We hired Empire to tear down an old garage that had been falling apart for years. From the first call, they were super helpful and gave us a fair quote. Showed up on time, worked fast, and left the site spotless. Honestly didn't expect it to be that easy. Highly recommend!Posted on Google![]()

These guys are the real deal. We needed some concrete busted up and removed from our backyard, and they handled it no problem. The crew was friendly, professional, and honestly? Way cheaper than the other companies we called. Win win.
Empire Demolition and Hauling is a demolition contractor based in Sacramento, serving property owners throughout Foothill Farms and the surrounding Sacramento metro. Our crews handle residential and commercial demolition, excavation, land clearing, debris hauling and site preparation.
Foothill Farms itself sits in north Sacramento County between Watt Avenue and Roseville Road, with Antelope Road up top and rail lines running along the edges. It isn’t a city. It’s an unincorporated community of about 36,000 people, and that little detail matters more than you’d think when something needs to come down.
Most of what we see here is residential. Established single family streets, backyards with a shed or two, driveways that have cracked and shifted over the years. There’s also commercial frontage along Elkhorn Blvd, Watt Avenue and Antelope Road, where spaces turn over and interiors get gutted between tenants.

What That Covers
Driveway and patio removal, slab breakouts, curb and gutter, ADA ramps
Request an EstimateHere’s why that matters. A shed teardown usually turns into a slab breakout. A slab breakout turns into grading. With one crew handling all of it, you get one schedule and one number to call.
Every lot’s different. Still, a handful of jobs come up again and again in a neighborhood like this:
We’ve spent more than 30 years doing demolition and site work across the Sacramento region. We run our own crews and our own equipment. No subcontractors, no handoffs. If we quote your Foothill Farms job, we’re the ones doing it.
We’re licensed and insured. Utilities get marked before any digging starts. We wet things down to keep dust off the neighbors' cars, protect fences and trees you want to keep, and leave the site swept. Simple stuff, done every time.

We cover all of Foothill Farms in ZIP codes 95841 and 95842, including:
We also work right next door in North Highlands, Antelope and Citrus Heights. From Sacramento, it’s an easy run up I 80 for our trucks and equipment. You can find Empire Demolition and Hauling on Google Maps and read more of our reviews there.
Since Foothill Farms is unincorporated, the rules come from Sacramento County, not a city hall. Keep these in mind:
Demolition permits go through Sacramento County Building Permits and Inspection, not the City of Sacramento.
For commercial and larger buildings, the Sac Metro Air District requires an asbestos survey and 10 days' notice before demo. Most single family homes are exempt.
Gas, power and water need to be disconnected before a structure comes down.
Tracks run along parts of the community’s edges. Lots near them can have access limits worth checking early.
Watt, Elkhorn and Antelope Road carry a lot of traffic. We time truck runs to avoid the worst of it.
Check current permit steps on the Sacramento County Building Permits and Inspection page. We’re happy to help you figure out what your project needs.
Who issues demolition permits in Foothill Farms?
ASacramento County does, since Foothill Farms isn’t inside a city.
Do I need an asbestos survey to tear down my house?
AUsually not for a single family home. Commercial and larger buildings need one before demo.
How far ahead do I need to plan a commercial demolition?
AThe air district needs 10 days' notice, so plan for the permit and that window.
Do you work in both 95841 and 95842?
AYes. We cover all of Foothill Farms plus nearby North Highlands and Antelope.
Can you work in a tight backyard?
AYes. We size our equipment to the job, so small yards get a smaller setup.
Do you take small jobs like a shed or a patio?
AAbsolutely. Small jobs are a big part of what we do.
How much does demolition cost in Foothill Farms?
AIt depends on size, materials, access and hauling. We’ll look at it and give you a free estimate.
Do you haul everything away?
AYes. Debris removal is part of every job, and we can grade the lot after.
Foothill Farms is a busy, lived in community with a lot of parks and a lot of families. We treat every street like our own neighbors live on it.
