I was referred by a friend and I'm really glad I listened. The team handled a full basement cleanout; decades of old stuff, heavy appliances, you name it. They worked for hours without complaint. One of the guys found an old metal shelving unit I wanted to keep and set it aside without being asked. Small thing but showed they were paying attention. Five stars no hesitation. Empire Demolition and Hauling is the only call I'm making for this kind of work going forward.Posted on Google![]()

We run a property management company so we use hauling services a lot. Empire is now our go-to. They're reliable, fast, and actually answer their phone which is rare these days. Bonus: they never leave a mess behind.Posted on Google![]()

Okay so I don't usually write reviews but seriously, this service was a lifesaver. My husband and I were overwhelmed with clearing out his dad's old house, full of junk, old furniture, the works. Empire came in and made it disappear. Thank you thank you thank you.Posted on Google![]()

Empire Demolition and Hauling was available to pickup and remove a bunch of junk from our garage. They arrived on-time; worked quickly; loaded the junk into a truck and even helped clean up afterwards. Plus, the price quoted was quite reasonable too. They definitely will be recommended to my family and friends. Thanks for your hardwork guys!Posted on Google![]()

We hired Empire to tear down an old garage that had been falling apart for years. From the first call, they were super helpful and gave us a fair quote. Showed up on time, worked fast, and left the site spotless. Honestly didn't expect it to be that easy. Highly recommend!Posted on Google![]()

These guys are the real deal. We needed some concrete busted up and removed from our backyard, and they handled it no problem. The crew was friendly, professional, and honestly? Way cheaper than the other companies we called. Win win.
Empire Demolition and Hauling is a demolition contractor based in Sacramento, serving property owners throughout Antelope and the surrounding Sacramento metro. Our crews handle residential and commercial demolition, excavation, land clearing, debris hauling and site preparation.
Antelope is one of the newer communities in north Sacramento County. Most of it grew up as a planned development starting in the late 1980s, and today it’s home to nearly 49,000 people. It stretches from Watt Avenue on the west to the rail line on the east, with the Placer County line running along its northern edge.
Because the homes here are newer, the demo work looks a little different. It’s less about tearing down old houses and more about changing what’s already there. Pools come out. Patios and driveways get replaced. Kitchens and baths get gutted for remodels.

We’ve been doing demolition and site work around Sacramento for more than 30 years. We run our own crews and own our own equipment. Nothing gets handed to a subcontractor, so the team that quotes your Antelope project is the team that shows up.
We’re licensed and insured. Utilities get marked before we dig. In tight backyards, we protect fences, landscaping and the neighbor’s side of the wall, and we keep dust down with water. When we’re done, the site’s swept and the debris is gone.

We cover all of Antelope in ZIP code 95843, including:
We also work across the neighboring communities of North Highlands, Foothill Farms and Rio Linda. Coming from Sacramento, our crews take Watt Avenue or I 80 up to Antelope. You can find Empire Demolition and Hauling on Google Maps and read more of our reviews there.
Antelope is unincorporated, so demolition permits go through Sacramento County, not a city.
Antelope’s northern edge is the Placer County line. Properties just over it follow Placer County rules instead.
Pool removal typically needs a permit, plus proper backfill and compaction so the yard doesn’t settle later. We’ll confirm what the county requires.
If your street has an HOA, check its rules on work hours, dumpsters and street parking before you schedule.
Many lots have narrow side yards. We size our equipment so it fits through without damage.
The Sac Metro Air District requires an asbestos survey and 10 days' notice before demolishing commercial and larger buildings.
Check current permit steps on the Sacramento County Building Permits and Inspection page. We’ll help you sort out what applies to your job.
